Riders from all disciplines are welcome….you may ride English or western at hunt school. Helmets are required. Riders should be comfortable riding cross country in a group. We offer several levels (flights) and there will be flights for people who prefer to stay at a more sedate pace, up to those who like to gallop and jump. We will have multiple small groups with mounted instructors who will ride with each group and teach hunting safety, etiquette and tradition. Each session will start with unmounted “classroom” discussion for around 30 minutes. Riders will then mount up, and divide into groups as desired. You are not locked into that group and can change to a faster or slower group as your own comfort level dictates. After riding, the groups reconvene for a shared tailgate picnic for questions and socializing.

Spaces are limited and "trailer-pooling" is encouraged due to parking.

Registration is required.
