About this event
The Sedgefield Performance Trial has become one of the most anticipated events on the foxhunting calendar. Known to many as the “Foxhunters’ Family Reunion,” it is celebrated for excellent sport, warm camaraderie, and outstanding food and drink.
Hounds will hunt over the premier bird dog field trial grounds on the East Coast. This remarkable 9,000-acre sporting paradise is stocked annually with more than 3,000 quail and is not hunted for fox or coyote throughout the season, offering fresh and exciting country. The sandy footing is excellent, with no jumps, and an extensive network of sand roads and fire lanes makes it easy for riders and truck followers alike to stay with the action.
Multiple fields will be offered, from Huntsmen’s and First Flight to Hilltopper. Open pine hillsides create a natural amphitheater, allowing all fields to gather above the working hounds and enjoy a clear view of this impressive Super Pack in full cry.
Hunt registration is $350. This registration is for hounds and 1 individual only! If you are not registering hounds, or need to register additional individuals, please see the regular Performance Trial Entry.
To register for onsite stalls, corrals, shavings, or RV sites, please use the regular Performance Trial Entry.
