Release form and negative coggins required for all. Gates open at 12:30..please do not arrive earlier than this, as we are guests at this private farm. Take all manure and hay around your trailers with you before departing. Leave no trace!
About this event
Riders from all disciplines are welcome-you may ride English or Western. Helmets are required. Riders should be comfortable riding cross country in a group. We offer several levels(flights) ranging from people who prefer to ride at a more sedate pace, up to those who like to gallop and jump. We will have multiple small groups with mounted instructors who will ride with each group and teach hunting safety, etiquette, and tradition. Each session starts with unmounted "classroom" discussion. Riders will then mount up, and divide into groups as desired. You are not locked into that group, and can change to a faster or slower group as your own comfort level dictates. After riding, the groups reconvene for a shared tailgate picnic for questions and socializing.
We will also have a "tack & attire" sale after this session, so come with items you would like to part with, and cash to purchase more!
